Green A
Presentation space with seats to accommodate 25 people.
This space can be reserved for research-related events and presentations.
Green A Features:
- 60" plasma screen on a stand. The plasma screen is connected to a CPU. Wireless keyboard and mouse for use with this screen can be checked out at the Research Commons Help Desk.
- 25 chairs with tablet arm for resting laptop or other materials. Chairs can easily be moved into different workshop or presentation configurations, but must remain in the room.
- Remote presentation slide clicker available for checkout.
- Rotating exhibits of interest to the UW academic community. For more information on exhibits in this space contact uwlibrc@uw.edu.
Please note:
Green A is intended for research-related events. It is not reservable for university staff meetings, library staff meetings, or clubs that are non-academic in nature.
Green A is a highly visible space bordered by a glass wall and a wall that does not extend to the ceiling. Noise from activity in surrounding areas can spill over into the space.
Audio played via the presenter's laptop is permitted if volume levels do not disrupt library users in adjacent spaces.
Green A does not have a phone. If your event involves web conferencing, you'll want to ensure that the audio is enabled over the Internet, not a phone line.
