Event Details:

Time: 4:00-5:30pm

Format: 20 slides/5 minutes
Make it visual! Use simple graphics and highlight key concepts.

What to expect: Lightning Talks are informal, but engaging. Scholars' Studio presentations will be lined up before the event to move quickly and seamlessly between presentations. The event is fast-paced: presenters jump up to the mic to deliver timed 5 minute presentations on topics related to the event theme. Following the series of presentations, all presenters will come to the front for a panel Q&A. We encourage presenters to ask questions of each other as well. There will be an opportunity for you to receive written feedback on your presentation after you have given your talk.

Proposal Guidelines:

In 150 words or less, please provide a brief description of your proposed Scholars' Studio talk, including how your presentation will relate to this quarter's theme, Pacific Northwest. You will be notified via e-mail if your proposal has been selected.
